COCO BUTTER: Triglycerides of fatty acids made from the beans of the cacao tree (Theobroma Cacao). Cocoa butter is a superb emollient that softens and protects chapped skin, relieves irritation and diminishes signs of wrinkling and stretch marks. Naturally, coco butter has a sweet chocolate smell, however Buttafly Jonez uses refines coco butter which removes the natural odor.
Vitamin E is found in vegetable oils. This natural antioxidant is valued for its soothing, and regenerating properties.
SHEA BUTTER: The natural fat obtained from the fruit of the karite tree. Shea butter is valuable, nourishing addition to moisturizers for the reduction of wrinkles, improves the elasticity of the skin and protects the skin against environmental aging. Shea butter is known to increase local capillary circulation, which in turn increases tissue re-oxygenation and healing.
OLIVE OIL: Obtained from pressing ripe olives of Olea Europaea. Olive oil is greenish-yellow in color and has a strong, somewhat spicy odor. It has been used by Mediterranean people for centuries both as a food and as a treatment for damaged, dry hair. Soothes, heals and lubricates the skin. Used in my butters as an emollient because of its superior penetrating power.
CORN STARCH: a natural ingredient derived from corn used to absorb wettness and seal in moisture.
MANGO BUTTER: A natural fat obtained from the mango fruit, it softens the skin yet leaves it non-greasy and helps protect the skin from moisture loss. Common uses include healing for streach marks, soothes tough skin, relieves itching skin, heals skin rash, treats dry and mature skin, and heals cracks and wounds.
MICA: A natural, pearlescent mineral pigment
APRICOT KERNEL OIL: Prunus Armeniaca. An extremely desirable moisturizer rich in Vitamins A and E, apricot kernel oil is extracted from the inedible kernels found in the apricot pit. Helps skin retain elasticity and suppleness without feeling greasy. Excellent when used on dry or mature skin.
FLAVOR/FRAGRANCE OILS: A cosmetic grade oil used to scent and flavor Buttafly Jonez Skin Care Products.
COCONUT OIL: Cocos Nucifera. The flesh of the coconut is rich in emollient fat and, when pressed, yields a white, sweetly scented, super moisturizing oil, which is a solid at room temperature but easily melts on the skin. coconut oil is the volatile, fragrant oil popularly used in suntan products. It protects skin from the elements by forming a thin film which is not absorbed. Coconut oil is useful as an after sun oil and it is revitalizing to dry, damaged hair. Surfactants derived from coconut oil have good cleansing properties and are known for their mildness.
AVOCADO OIL: Persea Gratissima. A precious, natural oil derived from the flesh of the avocado fruit, a tropical plant from Central America and California. Rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, protein and amino acids. One of the few vegetable oils containing protein, avocado oil penetrates the skin deeply without leaving an oily film on the skin. Promotes the regeneration of scarred skin. Softens and conditions dry, flaky skin and scalp. Stimulates hair growth.
SWEET ALMOND OIL: From the almond. Very emollient, all-purpose oil that is absorbed quickly. Excellent for the skin and nails.
JOJOBA OIL: A natural extracted liquid wax from the Jojoba plant. This natural oil is excellent for the skin and hair. It is superior to other skin and hair oils. This mild oil is a natural moisturizer that absorbs quickly into the skin.
GRAPESEED OIL: Vitis vinifera. Expressed from grape seeds. Rich, soothing, carrier oil that imparts shine and is widely used in hypo-allergenic moisturizers because it does not cause allergic reactions.
LEMON OIL: Obtained from the fresh peel of the Citrus Lemon tree. Known for its astringent and anti-irritant qualities, lemon oil also imparts shine to the hair when added to hair products. Also valued for its characteristic sweet, fruity refreshingly clean, lemony fragrance. Balances overactive sebaceous glands that lead to oily, blemished skin. Clears and enlivens the complexion. Also effective in treating brittle fingernails and in general hand care.
TEA TREE OIL: Indigenous to Australia, Tea tree oil has been used for centuries for a wide range of medical conditions. It is antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal.
LIME OIL: Astringent, antiseptic and non-irritating. Useful in the treatment of acne.
LITSEA CUBEBA OIL: A variety of tropical verbena, this pale yellow essential oil provides antiseptic, disinfectant, insecticidal and stimulating properties as well as its intense juicy fruit fresh scent.
PINK GRAPEFRUIT OIL: Uplifting, cleansing and clearing. Stimulating to the lymphatic system and toning to the skin. If you have a Pink Grapefruit or any grapefruit interactions with some medication, I strongly suggest that you consult your doctor before using products containing pink grapefruit.
BEES WAX: A natural wax made by bees in the cell walls of honeycombs. Beeswax is a natural emulsifier used in cosmetics. Adds a wonderful natural smell and color to products and helps to seal and protect the skin when used in moisturizing products.
PEPPERMINT OIL: Mentha piperita. Refreshing, reviving, fragrant oil or extract from the Mediterranean peppermint plant. Peppermint herb is valued for its cooling, pain relieving and antiseptic effect in bath and facial herbs. When prepared in a face wash or butter it is useful for minor skin irritation and inflammation. Peppermint oil contains menthol, known for its ability to open breathing passages and settle upset stomachs. Peppermint oil is used extensively to flavor candy, chewing gum and toothpaste and, in cosmetics, is used to cleanse and tone. Purifies sluggish skin and pores and is suitable for use on oily skin, acne and blackheads.
CASTILE SOAP: A wonderful cleasing agent using all natural ingredients consisting of water and glycerine blended with oils that are proven to cleanse like olive, coconut, and peppermint oils.
ALOE VERA: The pulpy, expressed juice of the Aloe Vera plant. Aloe Vera is famous for its moisturizing and soothing properties, as well as for its ability to aid in healing.
CANE SUGAR: A crystalline disaccharide obtained from the sugar cane used as a great all natural soft exfoliant.
Sea Salt: Concentrated mineral salt from the sea. Softens skin and acts as a detoxifying cleanser that draws impurities out of the body through the skin. Great as a more abrasive exfoliant. Be careful when using after shaving.
The body and hair butter is ultra concentrated. Great for men/women who are losing/gaining weight and need a skin protectant to help aid healing to/prevent stretch marks. Great for diaper rash and pregnant women to help prevent stretchmarks. (for diaper rash, i suggest natural). Great for tattoos, (natural selection.) Great for hair!! People I know from Latinos, to Middle Eastern people have tried my butter in their hair. These people have from straight to curly hair. Every ingredient included is proven to help with hair strength and follicle flexibility and skin elasticity, anti-aging, anti weathering, and regeneration.

Scrubs
For best results with scrubs, wash your entire body with your favorite soap or soak in the tub in warm water. Scrub your body with Buttafly's Salty or Suga Scrub thoroughly and rinse. You will find that you are left with an oily coat and ultra soft skin. Dry off and apply Buttafly's Body Butter. Smile.. you're radiating! Make SURE that you watch your steps in the shower or tub. This scrub will make it extremely slippery. Best use is with a tub mat. Take a small amount of shampoo and clean the bottom of the tub for the next person! Use at least once a week but safe for daily use.
Buttafly's Pepperminty Facial scrub is delicate for your face and does not contain oils but gentle soaps. Exfoliate your face with this product at least twice weekly to prevent dead skin and oil build up. ALWAYS replace the cap on the top of the jar to prevent drying of the product.
Butters
For Best results, use Buttafly Body Butter all over your body daily. Rub together in the palms of your hands to get even spread-ability. It should turn cloudy/clear, then apply it to your body. This body butter is formulated for your body and not a sensitive face.
Use Buttafly's Cute lil Face Butter for your face. If it is a lil too shiny, dab your face with a facial tissue for matte results. Continue to use sun screen as oils may enhance tans. If you can not ingest grapefruit, do not use this product as it has not been tested on those who are not allowed to have grapefruit in their diets. I tend to only use it in the area that I need it in. a little bit goes a LONG way.

If you have stubborn discolored, cracked, chronically ashy hands, use Buttafly's Ashy Hands, Butter. and the same for your feet. Use multiple times daily. Incorporate the use of Buttafly's Ashy Hand Scrub, or Buttafly's Ashy Foot Scrub on these areas at least 3 times weekly to help exfoliate dead and damaged skin away.
Use Buttafly's Lip Butter when ever you want for soft yummy lips. For preventative measures, apply before going out on a windy or extremely hot day.
Face Wash
Buttafly's Cute lil Face Wash is made with natural ingredients. Lemon and Lime oil are two ingredients used. These ingredients react with your skin and will reduce the OVER PRODUCTION of face oil which causes acne. So in essence, this product will reduce acne on your face, as it has with mine. Tea Tree oil is a serious astringent and will clean out your pores along with lemon and lime oil. If you have combination or dry skin, please use Buttafly's Cute lil Face Butter to replenish your skin on good oils. Cute lil Face Butter should not clog your pores. Because The face wash is made with natural ingredients, no stabilizers or preservatives, it may coagulate. Just add a little water and shake it.
